Tell us a little bit about yourself

I'm a communications major with a double minor in business and conflict analysis and resolution. I'd like to practice public relations for a non-profit or university after I graduate this spring semester.

Before ROCS, I was a taekwondo instructor and after-school program director for a martial arts studio. Although not as flexible as I used to be, I still like to hit the gym and stay in decent shape.

The worst job I ever had was my brief stint as a door-to-door salesman. I lasted six hours.

Dream Job as a Kid?

Zoologist - I wanted to play with animals.

First Job?

Assistant for a martial arts after-school care program. I got to make little kids do pushups when they misbehaved. (But I'm actually kind of a softy.)

Hometown?

I was born in Key West, Florida, but my family moved to the Northern Virginia area after my first birthday. I live in Springfield.

Your Idol(s)?

My fifth grade teacher Mrs. Strickland. I have a lot of respect for great teachers.
