Accounting Assistant in Sterling, VA

Position Description

Our client is seeking qualified candidates to fill the full-time position of Accounting Clerk located at the company's corporate headquarters in Sterling, VA. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of accounting and finance.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Organizing, reviewing and processing transactions to ledgers and other records.
• Perform basic clerical duties associated with bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, fixed assets, bank deposits, reconciliation statements, journal entries and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. in Accounting or a related Business degree.
• 1-2 years of relevant office-related experience.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• A results driven focus on objectives.
• An unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to execute on multiple priorities in this fast paced environment.
• Ability to work independently or as a team member.
• Candidates must live in the Northern Virginia area close to Sterling, Virginia. Ideally our candidates would live in the Chantilly, Dulles, Sterling, Leesburg, Ashburn areas.
