Overview

As a New Advisor (Years 1-2), you'll begin with a select set of tools to bring immediate value to your clients and forge lasting relationships. You will learn and develop your skills under the mentorship of your District Advisor. He/she will teach you how to use your tools to deliver simple but effective financial solutions to help your clients manage risk, reduce debt, and save/invest toward specific financial goals. You will have the resources to consistently grow and improve, as the company offers a variety of corporate resources to support your success.

Training

Once you have been accepted into the program you will begin the 4 month licensing and training process. Life and Health, Series 6, and Securities Licenses Series 63 65. The company will pay for all of the exams and materials for you! After completion of these exams and course prerequisites, you will fly to Fort Worth, Texas for 1 week of additional training. After this process, you are eligible to be a full time Financial Advisor. Your District Advisor, who has years and years of experience, will constantly mentor you.

Typical Day

You will meet with both potential and active clients to discuss their current financial status, and their ultimate financial goals. It is your job to guide them, using the tools and resources of the firm, to achieve financial success. You will attend various, local networking events, reach out to family and friends, and research potential leads in order to build and expand your personal network, and to generate referrals. During your first year, you should expect 40+ hour workweeks as you build and grow your client base.

Income

Once you have obtained the necessary certifications, and completed your training, you will receive a $2k per month stipend during the first year. The remainder of your income will come from bonuses and commission.. Your first year, you should expect to make a salary between $50-60k. Each year, as you continue to build-up your client base and referrals, your yearly income should continue to grow.
