Position Description
As Project Manager you lead the planning, estimating, staffing and delivery of Learning /Training and associated Instructional design projects. The PM will serve in a hands-on, client-facing role assessing client learning & business needs and developing solutions that integrate e-learning strategy & technology.
The Project Manager uses structured methodologies, which involve developing and managing project plans, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements, as well as managing relationships with all clients and stakeholders. The Project Manager skill set also encompasses experience as a Business Analyst in order to design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The Project Manager will track and analyze business trends, make appropriate recommendations, and supply reports that provide added value to our client.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide innovative training solutions to maximize learning mastery to students and value to clients.
- Track and analyze training programs for quality, student mastery, long-term learning retention and application to real-work requirements.
- Provides planning, designing, developing, documenting and testing during the development of new instructor-led and online courses.
- Provides planning, designing, developing, documenting and testing during the redevelopment of instructor-led and online courses.
- Interviews subject matter experts, teachingers, and students and analyze responses to determine instructional design and technical design requirements for new and redeveloped courses. Converts information into requirements documents.
- Programs in online course authoring software
- Participate in and or implement ‘Train-the-Trainer’ type learning programs. Document content including the production of: Job Aids, Desktop Reference Guides, Learning Modules and Evaluation Worksheets.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Instructional Design, Communications, Employee Development or related field and over 3 plus years related experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the laws, rules, regulations and procedures of Government Employees Training Act.
- Knowledge of competency identification, definition, behavioral anchors and proficiency measurement.
- Solid PC skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience and skill in various content development tools
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to listen, clarify and manage performance expectations
- Ability to work effectively in teams
- Ability to bring in the work on-time, within-budget and to the level of quality expected by the client
