Position Overview
Our client seeks an organized and detail oriented candidate to serve as File Clerk. The File Clerk ensures that all program files and corresponding documents are properly filed and easily accessible. The File Clerk is responsible for filing all case and payment attendance sheets and checks stubs in the appropriate member and provider files, along with corresponding check stubs and other documents that support each payment. The File Clerk also assists in verifying the accuracy of all documents in files provide and that all supporting documents are present, accurate, and complete.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains a system for timely, efficient, and accurate alphanumeric filing of all program files and other documents/paperwork in corresponding member and provider files.
- Files all member documentation in the appropriate file and provider payments in the appropriate provider files, along with corresponding check stubs and other documents that support each payment.
- As needed, assists staff with verifying the accuracy of member and provider file documentation.
- As needed, assists Quality Control with verifying that all member and provider files are in complete order.
- Provides support for special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be a current college student or recent grad.
- Proven experience in alphanumeric filing systems
- Experience in computerized database functions
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- 90 day commitment required

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management
