Job Description
The main responsibilities of the Business Solutions Consultant are to implement highly specialized financial software at client sites, including the setup of different modules within our financial software suites, databases and interfaces to other software products. Develop and document customer specific functionality for financial software.
- Traveling: 30% Travel / 70% Local, paid for traveling per miles, flights paid for if work were to be done out of the Washington, DC area
- Software Programming Preferred: Deltek, Solomon
Responsibilities
- Participate in client implementation and upgrade projects
- Provide technical support and consultation to clients
- Participate in client and partner and internal staff training
- Build and sustain ongoing relationships of openness and trust with clients
- Manage and consistently meet client expectations within the scope of the Pleasant Valley project role
- Train client staff in effective use of the software
- Create documentation as needed by clients
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or at least two years of commensurate accounting experience is a REQUIREMENT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
