Instructional Writer / Editor Arlington, VA

Full Time // 4 month Job Length with possible full-time opportunity // $20-25 per hour

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree
• Minimum four years of experience in developing written resources from initial concept to delivery.
• Must be able to work as a member of a complex and highly productive team
• Must be able to work independently as needed and handle multiple assignments
• Must be able to write for a variety of audiences and purposes both written and web-based materials, tailoring information to fit the reading level and appropriateness for the intended audience.
• Must have excellent editing skills
• Must know AP and APA editing methodology and be able to apply to work appropriately

Primary Responsibilities

• Will edit online courses
• Will work with an Instructional Designer and subject matter experts that are authors of the online materials
• Will work with MS Word and web-based online course authoring system

• 4 month Job Length with possible full-time opportunity.
