Job Description
The successful candidate will conduct research, compile briefing materials for meetings, handle or route requests for information from Client members, federal policymakers and outside stakeholders, help maintain the division's section of the website, organize and maintain the Department's filing system.
Candidate will assist with research on congressional bills and help with grassroots efforts.
Job Requirements
- Be a current Junior or Senior at a local DC-area university in a Government, civics or policy - no exceptions.
- Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- The student must be highly organized (over-achievers are welcome)
- Have some experience writing reports (the kind of reports that require more than an all-nighter). You'll be expected to conduct comprehensive political and empirical research reports, while demonstrating a strong understanding of the legislative and executive process.
- Be fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
