Job Duties
- Communicate regularly with customers including companies, assessment centers, schools, WIBs, unions, and associations
- Coordinate and help to prepare materials for trade shows/conferences including newsletters and other collateral; travel to about ten shows a year and support staff at events
- Maintain website: update current events, FAQs, training sources, assessment centers
- Perform administrative duties related to customer service and order processing including handling inquiries, setting appointments, explaining industry processes, processing POs and credit/check orders. Also, maintaining list of contacts and constant communication via e-mail and phone with current and prospective customers.
- Participate in calling campaigns to increase visibility and participation
- Participate in selected projects, including service as a facilitator and note take
- Travel to project sites in various parts of the U.S
- Serve as a state liaison for the states you are assigned and support regional reps.
Job Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A spelling, grammar and proofreading test will be administered during the interview.
- Critical eye for detail
- Comfortable with cold calling high-profile individuals
- Superb organizational and presentation skills. Candidate will develop and deliver a presentation during the interview period.
- Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and previous internet research experience
- Knowledge of HTML and ACT database a plus
- Preferably hold a communications, event planning, English, or business related degree
- Previous work experience in non-profit or association highly desired
