Medical Biller in Reston, Va

Reston, Va - Full Time (8:30am-5pm) - $15-17 per hour

Job Outline

We are looking for a medical biller with experience in physician and ambulatory facility billing. The position involves accurately performing all aspects of medical billing; posting payments/charges, patient collections, electronic and paper claim submissions and extensive insurance follow up to include preparing appeals, working aging reports and claim follow up.

The position is Monday - Friday and the hours are approximately 8:30am - 5:00pm

Qualifications

• Candidate should be familiar with HCFA 1500, UB 92, CPT and ICD9 coding rules.
• The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a physician's office or an ambulatory setting
• Have excellent communication skills'
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
