Job Responsibilities
- Comfortable with client interaction and ability to work with staff and clients to solve problems and maintain high standards of customer service
- Be the 1st and 2nd line of any issues customers and clients may encounter
- Two solid years experience in software support, installation, configuration, training and troubleshooting preferred
- Experience in the mortgage banking industry is a significant plus
- Rotating between in-house customer technical support and on-site installation, configuration and training
- Present an excellent company image, as you will be the point person responsible for all support, installation, upgrade and training activities with our customers
- Provide technical support for our customers (via phone, email, web and remote desktop)
Job Requirements
- Must have experience with Client-Server web based application installation, configuration and support. (They are a web based solution, running on Microsoft's IIS, developed in .NET and C# also utilizing SQL server)
- Typical end-user workstation configurations, OS installation (XP, Vista, Windows 7), and hardware configuration
- Microsoft Server 2003 and 2008 Operating systems
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) set up, configuration, management and administration
- Microsoft SQL Server - Basic Management
- Configuration and creation of basic SQL Scripts and queries. Configuration and creation of ODBC Connections and Database Views
- Setup and troubleshooting of basic computer networking systems
- Development and maintenance of end-user documentation and training materials
- Development and maintenance of customer FAQs
- Development and management of project schedules and reporting
- Familiarity with high volume document scanners and multi-function devices
- Bug tracking and version control software such as CVS or Surround
- Setup and troubleshooting of VPN systems
- General computer programming skills
