Software Engineering Intern in Reston, VA

Flexible hours (20-30) - $14 to $16 per hour

What We're Looking For

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to gain real-world work experience while you earn your degree? Our client is actively seeking interns to for their internship program. All Computer Science (or similar degree program) Junior, Senior, and Graduate students are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, eligible/willing to be submitted for a government security clearance, and able to work an established weekly schedule in their Reston, Virginia office.

Technical Skills

• Solid mainstream programming language experience (C, Java, .Net, Ruby, Python, etc.)
• A thirst for knowledge, accompanied by a strong interest in tech trends

Communication Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to create and deliver a technical presentation to a group of peers
• Active participant in a team environment

Experience

• Any professional software development experience is a plus, but minimally should have experience with software projects in an educational setting
• Other technical interests, hobbies, or related IT experience

Schedule

• Two internship sessions are offered each year: December-May and June-November (interns may participate in multiple sessions if selected)
