Job Overview
The Systems Support Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support of the company's computer users.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Support for all desktop applications including worksheet, database and word processing and problem identification and error resolution.
- Responsible for diagnosing and resolving all hardware issues including printing and network access issues.
- May conduct one-on-one training as needed.
- Participate in the introduction of new technologies to the company's Customer Community.
Essential Functions (and % of time spent)
- Respond to Customers Request for Assistance. (70%)
- One-on-one training. (10%)
- Participate in the rollout of new applications and technologies. (10%)
- Analyze requests for assistance to determine call patterns. (10%)
Basic Qualifications
- One year of extensive microcomputer experience supporting Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/2008, Microsoft Office and other office productivity applications.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, A+, Net+ Certifications desirable.
- Must be able to work with a diverse customer community often under short deadlines.
- Must possess the ability to relate computer concepts to less knowledgeable customers.
- Must possess the ability to adjust to changing deadlines and priorities.
- Experience with electronic mail, remote access virtual private network technology and the support of Blackberry and iPhone devices desirable.
- Bachelor of Science or Arts is desired.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills required.
