Job Description

The company is seeking detail oriented engineers to create innovative software solutions for its customers. Experience with SQL, stored procedures, ETL, creating and implementing large databases, Linux, and programming in Java are required. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate with clients and the internal R&D team. The ideal applicant must have a strong Computer Science/IT background, as well as a dedication to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and transform data from clients to ensure the highest quality imports into the reporting system
• Integrate client data with other data from various 3rd party sources like demographic data providers and parcel data
• Own all technical aspects necessary for successful client customization and delivery to market
• Problem solving, task management, client delivery

Requirements

• BS or MS in a computer-related or hard science field
• Minimum 2 years of related experience
• Extremely knowledgeable about SQL/MySQL and databases
• Previous work experience with Linux and shell scripts
• Strong programming skills, particularly Java
• Must be detail-oriented, methodical, and a perfectionist
• Must enjoy surfing through large amounts of data to find and explain anomalies
• Must be comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment where constant change is the norm
