Description
A medium sized software company in Arlington, VA is looking for an IT Support Analyst. The candidate's main responsibility is to maintains desktop hardware and software, and respond to Tier 1 and Tier 2 service desk requests. The ideal person is customer-service oriented, friendly, and personable.
Job Duties include
- Serve as first point of contact for all internal customer support requests.
- Provide necessary support for all Service Desk assigned desktop hardware and software related trouble tickets.
- Provide support service to include maintenance, installation, movement and removal of desktop related equipment
- Recommend and schedules repairs and upgrades.
- Maintain desktop hardware and software inventory databases
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Windows 2003 server, AD and Windows Vista and XP OSes.
- Knowledge of Dell hardware and software, emphasizing in Microsoft products
- Experience with Unix systems and Macintoshes and plus
- Must be able to life 50 pounds
- Knowledge of IP networking
