Engineering Intern in Chantilly, VA

Full-Time (8-5pm, M-F) // $10-15 per hour // May-September job length (possibly longer)

Job Overview

The company is looking for a bright engineering intern to format the existing Bill of Materials (BOM) for data migration into a new ERP system. The BOM is a list of the parts that comprise an entire system (server or storage) such as main boards, memory, cables, etc. The candidate must be able to commit to finishing the project (5-8 weeks of work). Additional projects will be assigned upon completion.

Job Requirements

• An understanding of computer parts
• Someone with experience building a computer is a plus
• A degree in mechanical, electrical or computer engineering
• Strong attention to detail - can double check work and identify errors
• Ability to work independently - knows when to ask questions, but doesn't require constant supervision
• US Citizenship
