Job Overview
- The role is part-time but three mornings per week are required.
- The anticipated workload is 20-24 hours per week.
- Placement is anticipated for a period of 6-12 months.
- Ideally looking for a current Sophomore or Junior in Information Technology or other related degree.
- Someone who is energetic & eager to learn.
- Great opportunity to be exposed to an international/global company.
- Candidates who are fluent/conversational in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
Main Purpose of Job
- Provide technical support to all areas of the business including, but not limited to, Customer Care, Services, R&D, and Pre-sales.
- Customer support ticket responses
- Assist with pre-sales customer demonstrations as needed
Job Requirements
- General Familiarity with deploying Application Servers (JBOSS and Apache), Oracle Schemas, troubleshooting
- Languages: JavaScript (required), SQL (preferred), PL/SQL, PHP, Java
- Tools: Pentaho Data Integration (formerly Spoon and Kettle), BIRT reporting
- Foreign Language: Language proficiency in either Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
- Education: Current college student in related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
