Junior Technical Sales and Marketing in Chantilly, Va

Chantilly, Va – Full Time - $30-35k + Commission + Benefits

The ideal person will be good in PR and in contributing new marketing approaches and marketing media to the existing lines (including printed media and Internet). If you like working in an office environment and enjoy learning about new technology oriented products, this is the job for you.

Qualifications:

• Looking for dynamic self-starting individual to work in business development and marketing.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
• Willing to attend outside client/customer appointments and conduct face-to-face prospecting
• Feel comfortable explaining technical functionalities of products to customers
• Previous experience selling to government agencies a plus
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident

Duties:

• Individual will be in charge of developing our weather information systems division sales, actively looking for new sales leads, following up with RFPs, contacting present customers, developing PR strategies, and increasing revenues.
• The successful candidate will also be in charge of managing existing outlet channels for our line of marine communications equipment and expanding our network of dealers.
• Will have the opportunity to participate in trade shows, and occasional travel.
