Membership Renewal Intern in Alexandria, Va

Alexandria, Va - Full Time Summer Internship - $13-15 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 22 June – end of August (allowing time for training)
• Hours: 9A-6P, with an hour lunch (flexible when lunch is)
• Free street parking, Braddock metro is 7 blocks
• Attire: professional casual during the summer. Flip-flops (i.e. shower, beachwear), ripped jeans, shorts, and tops exposing your midriff are not acceptable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist team in reaching renewal goals
• Aggressively call and email non-renewed members to either collect payment or find out why they are not renewing
• Follow up in a timely manner to voicemails and emails
• Process credit card payments using online processing program
• Daily team meetings to report on status updates (informal)

Required Experience:

• Professional phone, email and general communication skills
• Customer service background
• Fast learner in a fast paced environment
• Superior organization skills
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
