Job Overview
Responsible for directing, monitoring, consolidating and creating the company's Corporate Product Strategic Plan.
Duties:
- Create a comprehensive Product Strategy plan which includes, market scope, market viability, product performance, and product future opportunities.
- Formulate and manage external and internal communications on the company's product strategies. Including but not limited to Business cases, Business Plans, marketing Plans, etc..
- Perform and Create analysis of product position using marketing concepts like Boston Consulting Matrix, Porter's 5 forces, etc..
- Develop, execute, coordinate and / or oversee market research to support company's business development objectives (internally conducted or through outside vendors)
- Liaise with Customer Marketing Directors to coordinate delivery of appropriate Product Strategy activities to feed into the Corporate Product Strategy.
- Liaise with Product Marketing and Development relative to PMD's product development initiatives and coordinate delivery of appropriate material and information to feed into the Product Strategy
- Work closely with marketing and corporate communications staff to jointly coordinate strategic and tactical marketing efforts
- Provide direction, lead and mentor Product marketing & Development staff:
- How to better evaluate market opportunities
- How to quantify the business opportunities
- How to create marketing plans that will provide superior go to market results
- Supporting and working side by side with executives
- Trial period to possible full time hire
- Creating/ Developing Marketing plans
- Initiating and working with Business cases
- Working in a teamwork environment
Qualifications:
- Working towards or completed Graduate degree
- MBA Desired
- Some type of work experience in Marketing field whether it be an internship or professional position
- Confidence to present new ideas and receive feedback
- Good Communications/ Presentation skills
- Willing to work with a team
- Airline background not necessary
