Job Overview
The Advertising Operations Manager (Online Media Ads Associate) will report to the Director of Ad Operations to assist with operational support and oversight of major advertisers and ad network accounts. Main responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day operational/technical support for Marketing, Agency, and Ad Network partners
- Ad trafficking and reporting of impression and performance targets across content, publisher, topic, and demographic segments
- Monitoring, analyzing and reporting campaign performance to internal/external partners
- Helping to deliver product enhancements and capabilities to Marketer and Agency partners
- Troubleshooting technical and business issues for internal/external stakeholders
Job Requirements
- B.S. / B.A. college degree required (background in engineering or business preferred)
- 2+ years of ad operations experience (ideally with focus on video)
- Solid understanding of ad trafficking systems (e.g., DFP, FreeWheel, Adap.tv)
- Strong analytical skills to perform quantitative financial performance analysis to optimize margins/ROI
- 2+ years of experience in account management or customer service:
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and constraints
- Proven track record of maximizing relationship value
- Solid understanding of core business value drivers and customer needs
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills- comfortable speaking in front of customers and prospects
- Leadership qualities- ability to be decisive and articulate ideas and opinions
- Detail-oriented, highly organized- can work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Team oriented and willing to support larger product and company goals
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
