Marketing Intern in Bethesda, MD

Summary

The Marketing Intern will assist with and participate in several different aspects of our client's marketing efforts. Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Writing/editing assignments for blog program
• Various other writing projects (collateral, web site content, emails)
• Social Media: participate in our social media strategy (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
• Events: handle logistics for webinars, trade shows, seminars, meetings
• Database entry/reporting
• SEO/PPC Adwords Analysis

Job Requirements

• Current student (Junior or Senior) studying Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Advertising, or similar program
• Excellent writing skills and prior knowledge of various social media platforms
• Examples/Samples demonstrating past writing experience (school or work-related)

Job Knowledge and Skills

Candidate should be capable of initiating and maintaining strong personal relationships. In addition, he/she should be able to coordinate with all the departments involved to ensure the completion of the associated marketing programs. A high degree of organization and self-motivation is required. This person should take the initiative to learn about the client's products and services, and the industries they serve.
