Job Overview for Associate Instructor:
 
The Associate Facilitator will work closely with the Manager of Experiences and Programming to design and run unique corporate training events that pull from Agile and Design Thinking frameworks. Working with various industries you will help clients and organizations craft problem statements, develop strategic plans, and obtain group buy-in. The Associate Facilitator will also work on growing our signature Innovation Elevated Program, our unique curriculum that allows teams and organizations to work on various dynamics such as communication, trust, silo breaking, and empowerment often in the context of building something with technology. An ideal candidate will have excellent people and public speaking skills, attention to detail, and be willing to think creatively around problems.
                                                                                                                            
Responsibilities for Associate Instructor:
 
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct facilitations and Innovation Elevated days 
  • Adapt trainings based on group dynamics and developments 
  • Bolster attendee performance 
  • Research organizations and prep for meetings, trainings, and other events 
  • Develop bespoke curriculum and team building events 
  • Create after action reports 
  • Learn and teach technologies such as welding, soldering, and laser cutting. 
  • Depending on the team needs and your availability, you may be asked to work an occasional day on the weekend. If this happens, you will get your time back. 
  • Other duties as assigned 
 
 
Qualifications for Associate Instructor: 
 
  • Undergraduate degree of college courses in education, design, leadership, conflict resolution or psychology (Accredited/recognized certificates in a pertinent stream such as Scrum, ThinkWrong, IDEO, design thinking, or facilitation training
  • 1-2 years of instructional and/or technology-related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to pass base security
  • Advanced working proficiency in English; fluency preferred
 
 
Desired Skills for Associate Instructor: 
 
A successful candidate will meet and exceed the following competencies:
  • 1-2 years of educational/instructional experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong oratory skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Comfort in a functional workshop and power tools
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel 
  • Ability to pass base security
  • Advanced working proficiency in English, fluency preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  16. Excellent business writing knowledge (attention to grammar and 
  17. punctuation) 
  18. Proficiency with Adobe or Canva
