This position maintains an important role by producing new clients and assisting senior reps with prospecting. Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
Responsible for the marketing of existing standard accounts and for handling new business to the agency via phone and walk-ins.
Broadly participates in the retention and growth of the assigned book of business.
Maintain a current knowledge of coverages and exposures in their
available markets.
Review expiration list 90 days in advance of expiration and market to companies.
Review accounts to identify and target new business lines for existing clients.
Research and answer client questions regarding coverages in a timely manner.
Direct contact with existing accounts regarding questions or changes to existing
coverage needs.
Requirements of the Customer Service Representative:
Bachelor’s degree
Prior exposure to sales
Ability to learn with a great work ethic
Work independently
Detailed and organized
