Responsibilities of the Education and Membership Coordinator:

  • Assist with coordinating educational materials, speakers, program brochures, facilities, and audio/visual needs for conferences and the Online Training Center
  • Supports online registration
  • Assists the Director in updating education materials for members
  • Helps maintain a database system to track the certification and recertification status of the participants in educational programs, including the tracking of continuing education credits
  • Assist with the creation, set up, and management of events, conferences, and meetings
  • Manage general department administration
  • Assist with engagement and material preparation for webinars
  • Assist in writing and editing of department newsletters, updates, and training improvements
  • Work with members and internal team members on other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Education and Membership Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in education, communications, marketing, or a closely-related field
  • Previous work experience in project management, content development, or educational programming is desirable
  • Comprehensive experience with and knowledge of Zoom and other video conferencing technologies
  • Work experience in a membership association is a plus
  • Interest in working within events and conferences
  • Proven writing and editing skills are required
  • Strong organizational and project management skills required. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
  • Must be a strong team player and customer focused. Positive attitude a must!
