We are a fast-growing nonprofit finance cooperative seeking a Data Analyst to assist with data visualization and process support for the Department of Agriculture financial and operating report form data.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the execution of the Key Ratio Trend Analysis (KRTA) and KPI financial benchmarking data for the use of internal and external consumers.
Provide support and guidance to external membership and internal stakeholders on the preparation of Department of Agriculture financial and operating report form data such as RUS Forms 7 and 12, and KRTA analysis.
Perform high quantity of detailed quality assurance reviews of RUS Forms 7 and 12 received from external member cooperatives.
Receive, process and track financial model requests from external and internal customers.
Assist in developing process documentation.
Participate in test-plan development, integration and deployment.
Create compelling financial data visualizations and dashboards.
Work with programmers, engineers, and management to identify process improvement opportunities.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to interpret and detect inconsistencies in financial documents.
Strong analytical and quality assurance abilities.
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong customer service and attention to detail.
Intermediate Excel skills required.
Experience with SharePoint administration highly preferred.
Basic Knowledge of programming languages like SQL preferred.
Basic Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI highly preferred.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, information systems or related field.
1 year experience with data analysis.
Previous finance and/or utility industry experience is preferred.
