This is a great opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer to have a stable yet flexible part-time job with a local nonprofit. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating digital and print graphics/images and must have skills in conception, layout and typography.
Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer:
- Design and produce a broad range of branded creative deliverables, including print collateral, illustrative infographics, digital UI, wireframes, mockups, presentation slides, email graphics, and branded templates
- Produce production-ready artwork and manage occasional production vendors related to marketing collateral and digital assets
- Bring fresh direction and insight through design solutions while maintaining and reinforcing brand standards
- Maintain organization and management of files to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Update existing materials for use by members
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements of the Graphic Designer:
- Previous education in graphic design, fine arts, illustration, or similar
- 2-5 years of professional work experience
- Ability to stay directed and productive while working remotely
- Strong proficiency with MSOffice products and full Adobe Creative Suite required
- A creative thinker with strong knowledge of fundamental design principles including typography, color theory, spacing, layout, visual presentation, and follows design trends
- Ability to produce deliverables in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once while managing a tight schedule
- Ability to utilize strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity or proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc. a plus
- Experience with inbound marketing tools such as HubSpot a plus
- Experience with video editing and photography is a plus, but not needed
