Responsibilities:
- Assist members in person with transactions, account openings, and loan applications.
- Answer questions about products and services and provide financial guidance.
- Deliver excellent customer service and act as the face of the credit union.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell appropriate financial products.
- Conduct outbound member calls to promote financial products and services.
- Maintain and update member records, reports, and account information.
- Support the marketing and business development team with outreach and events.
- Assist the internal training team by scheduling training sessions and managing the learning platform.
- Perform general administrative tasks and help resolve member issues with other departments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree not required.
- 1–3 years of experience in banking, retail, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – must be comfortable with selling and presenting.
- Basic math skills and comfort working with numbers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Excel assessment required during hiring process).
- Professional appearance and demeanor – must be confident and people-oriented.
- Willingness to learn and grow into a long-term sales or business development role.
