In this position you will serve as coordinator of our member relations department in addition providing multi-faceted office support. 

Responsibilities of the Member Relations & Communications Coordinator:

  • Respond promptly and courteously to member and patient inquiries.
  • Process changes to member records and create membership invoices, as needed.
  • Assist with the deployment of annual membership invoicing.
  • Assist with maintaining the online Help Center, updating FAQs and ensuring answers are up to date.
  • Assist with sending member emails, i.e., compile lists, format, send and track.
  • Build and implement social retargeting campaigns in Feathr.
  • Assist with coordinating the member resource booth at the Annual Meeting and other specialty meetings.
  • Assist with updating content and publishing pages on websites.
  • Serve as staff liaison for History Committee. Facilitate, edit and publish history interviews. 
  • Process and edit new and accepted manuscripts as needed.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to member and patient inquiries.
  • Process mail, packages and invoices.
  • Maintain inventory of patient materials.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Member Relations & Communications Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of related office experience
  • Proficient using MS Office and Adobe Suite products.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, knowledge of AP and AMA styles desirable. 
  • Experience with CMS and AMS programs desirable. 
  • Able to write HTML.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented, organized, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong project and time management ability.
  • Works well with others and excellent team player.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong desire and ability to embrace new technologies.
