Position Responsibilities for Dispatch / Logistics Coordinator:
- Dispatch all jobs to drivers quickly and accurately.
- Properly manage and coordinate driver availability as work dictates.
- Work closely with drivers (this includes assigning new jobs, obtaining charges and handling any driver problems)
- Communicate with Control Towers, with status updates as required.
- Work closely with Dispatch staff
- To undertake any other reasonable duties/responsibilities at the request of the management team.
- Responsible for shipping/receiving duties when applicable.
- Document and escalate all problems/situations as per company policy and procedures.
- Report vehicle accidents/driver incidents immediately to Supervisor/Manager/HR.
- Schedule and manage vehicle repairs and equipment.
Position Qualifications for Dispatch / Logistics Coordinator:
- Great customer service!
- Demonstrate Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Great Time Management: The ability to organize and mange multiple priorities
- Computer Proficiency
- Be willing to learn international & domestic airline routings, geography and time zones
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Schedules:
- Afternoon and Night shifts, plus one weekend shift
- Flexible schedule is required for this opportunity! We run a 24/7/365 Operation
