About the Role:
This part-time role will serve as the main point of contact for prospective residents, providing information about housing options, verifying eligibility, and connecting families to resources.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the initial contact for potential residents in both Spanish and English
- Provide information about housing programs and eligibility criteria
- Verify applicant eligibility and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with staff and attend occasional in-person meetings in Lorton and at the housing site in Alexandria (off Route 1)
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in administrative support, project coordination, or client service (nonprofit or housing experience is a plus)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Willingness to attend occasional in-person meetings in Northern Virginia
Schedule and Location:
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week, flexible scheduling
- Combination of remote work and in-person meetings in Lorton and Alexandria
