Job Summary for CDL Driver, Class A or Class B
As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of a variety of goods and materials. Leveraging your expertise in logistics and warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of our clients' supply chains.
Key Responsibilities for CDL Driver, Class A or Class B
- Operate and maintain commercial vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, tanker trucks, or box trucks, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring the proper handling and securement of goods
- Deliver shipments to customers and clients within established schedules and deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customer service teams to coordinate transportation logistics
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your cargo, and other motorists on the road
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field
- Medical Card
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
