Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
- Immediately report any negative incidents with other drivers, accidents and customers to Dispatcher or Dispatch Manager
- Load and unload shipments between various destinations as assigned
- Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for delivery or pick up to ensure timely and accurate transportation
- Responsible for vehicle care, cleanliness and required equipment in each vehicle.
- Maintain a valid drivers license
Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License
- The employee is required to frequently lift and/or move packages weighing up to 25 LBS throughout a given shift, and to occasionally lift and/or move packages weighing up to 70 LBS
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance & stoop to lift packages – including lifting packages from the floor over their head.
- Must be willing to learn to operate a pallet jack and forklift
