Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the web-based membership platform, YourMembership, ensuring all records and chapter data are accurate.
- Act as the primary point of contact for members and chapter officers by answering phone calls and emails regarding membership inquiries and chapter operations.
- Process changes to membership records received through online portals, email, mail, and telephone.
- Prepare and mail membership packets, replacement cards, and continuous service packages.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports for leadership, including rosters for Region Directors and data for board meetings.
- Coordinate the distribution of notifications for membership expirations and annual verification for Life Members.
- Manage administrative logistics for annual meetings, including the preparation of credentials and the shipment of business materials.
- Support newly forming chapters by providing member lists, approved bylaws, and preparing official charters.
Requirements
- A blend of administrative and customer service experience is required, with a preference for those who have worked in membership management.
- Proficiency in MS Teams for communication and file storage is necessary.
- Experience utilizing membership databases or similar CRM platforms is highly desired.
- Must possess the ability to work independently in a small-office environment with minimal daily supervision.
- Strong organizational skills to manage recurring daily, weekly, and monthly tasks efficiently.
- A commitment to a long-term, stable role rather than a position focused on rapid promotion or growth.
- Must be able to work 100% in-office in Herndon, VA, and pass a standard background check.
