Leaving The Nest - Episode 15: Career Coaching Spotlight - An Overview of Human Resources HR with Becky Millis

At ROCS Grad Staffing, we often interview a ton of great candidates who are interested in working in Human Resources but they can’t seem to get their foot in the door.  My guest today is here to share what her day-to-day is like and what a job in HR actually entails.

Hey there, listeners! Welcome back to another episode of Leaving the Nest. I’m your host, Kathleen Pellegrino from ROCS Grad Staffing. Our mission is to help you find a job out of college and thrive in the real world.

Today, I’m sitting down with Becky Millis who works as an HR Director for a local company in Herndon, Virginia.

She’s here today to share her story with all of us, give some advice to those seeking a career in HR, and challenge us to explore new roles and opportunities where we may find our true calling.

I love having the opportunity to interview business leaders in the area, hear about their careers, and learn what it was like for them when they left the nest.

I’m very thankful that Becky agreed to join us, so I hope you enjoy our conversation!

Also, be sure to leave a review wherever you’re listening and share this podcast with the recent college grads you know.

Enjoy!
