Responsibilities

Tenant Relations
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure high satisfaction and service delivery
  • Serve as point of contact to address questions, issues, and service needs
Vendor & Subcontractor Management
  • Coordinate day-to-day work with vendors, building engineers, and internal staff
  • Recommend services for maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, etc.
  • Obtain bids, prepare specs, and assist with contract decisions
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation
Financial & Budget Oversight
  • Monitor property-related operating expenses
  • Review and approve invoices
  • Assist with annual budget development
  • Conduct site inspections to support budgeting needs
Building Operations
  • Oversee daily property functions and ensure buildings are properly maintained
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to confirm service quality
  • Monitor work order systems and ensure timely completion
  • Serve as on-call contact for emergency building needs
Team & Staff Support
  • Support recruitment, training, and performance management of onsite staff
  • Help ensure team members are trained and aligned with organizational goals
  • Partner with HR on development initiatives
Administrative Support
  • Oversee vendor contract compliance, renewals, and file maintenance
  • Assist with due-diligence activities as needed
  • Help coordinate property tours for prospective tenants

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; relevant industry certifications (BOMA, IREM) a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field; commercial property management preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn company-specific systems
  • Strong customer service mindset and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage competing priorities
  • Understanding of building systems and operational needs preferred
  • Comfortable being on-call for occasional after-hours emergencies
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
