Responsibilities:
- Resolve escalated Tier I issues by analyzing complex problems, implementing efficient solutions, and providing thorough follow-up.
- Deliver high-quality customer support with a focus on expertise, timeliness, and professionalism.
- Monitor helpdesk channels (phone, email, web chat) and provide prompt technical support.
- Troubleshoot and clearly explain technical solutions, offering step-by-step guidance to users.
- Assist with training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing for Tier I technicians.
- Test and implement new systems, software, and applications to enhance network infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate documentation of requests, actions taken, and status updates.
- Escalate issues to higher-tier specialists or senior personnel when appropriate.
- Support 24/7 operations, including day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Requirements:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience with networking, operating systems, and IT support (hardware, software, and network applications).
- Hands-on experience with SolarWinds and ServiceNow in production environments.
- Active Security+ CE certification required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- CCNA or JNCIA-Junos certification.
- Experience with enterprise tools such as Cisco ISE.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python scripting).
Full-time, Onsite
$75-85k
Schedule:
- Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Mid Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- 10-hour shifts on a 4-3-3-4 rotation schedule
