Responsibilities:

Resolve escalated Tier I issues by analyzing complex problems, implementing efficient solutions, and providing thorough follow-up.
Deliver high-quality customer support with a focus on expertise, timeliness, and professionalism.
Monitor helpdesk channels (phone, email, web chat) and provide prompt technical support.
Troubleshoot and clearly explain technical solutions, offering step-by-step guidance to users.
Assist with training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing for Tier I technicians.
Test and implement new systems, software, and applications to enhance network infrastructure.
Maintain accurate documentation of requests, actions taken, and status updates.
Escalate issues to higher-tier specialists or senior personnel when appropriate.
Support 24/7 operations, including day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Requirements:

High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience with networking, operating systems, and IT support (hardware, software, and network applications).
Hands-on experience with SolarWinds and ServiceNow in production environments.
Active Security+ CE certification required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
CCNA or JNCIA-Junos certification.
Experience with enterprise tools such as Cisco ISE.
Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python scripting).
