Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time across multiple departments and entities
- Check monthly timesheet and bonus input into the Ptelea system and produce monthly Crosstab reports
- Prepare and input all payroll data and check requests for applicable payroll-associated payments
- Assist with iPay statement resets for team members
- Prepare journal entries for payroll and benefit accounts and support month-end and year-end close
- Prepare and reconcile payroll and benefit account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Reconcile quarterly and annual tax filings and reports in accordance with agency filing requirements
- Check semi-annual performance bonus payments
- Update annual budget spreadsheets with industry salary survey data and maintain the Performance Management Raise spreadsheets
- Produce and provide reports for various company projects and update company roster on a semi-monthly basis
- Maintain payroll records in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements
- Monitor compliance with labor laws and industry-specific regulations
- Support benefit plan audits including 401k and Workers Compensation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3+ years of payroll and general ledger reconciliation experience; property management or land development background a plus
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of payroll regulations including FLSA and tax reporting requirements
- Highly organized and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Available to work 24 hours per week with rotating days based on payroll schedule
