You’ll gain hands-on experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms like Outreach and ZoomInfo while learning how high-quality data supports successful sales and business development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Review, identify, merge, and remove duplicate contact and company records within Outreach.
- Clean up duplicate accounts and records created through ZoomInfo imports using established prioritization guidelines.
- Validate and update contact information, including email addresses, phone numbers, job titles, and company details.
- Identify and remove outdated, inactive, bounced, or otherwise invalid records.
- Research and add missing information to existing contact and company records.
- Monitor email bounce rates in Outreach and flag potential deliverability issues.
- Add and maintain a new “Natural Name” field within account profiles.
- Track and report progress on database cleanup projects regularly.
- Follow established processes and maintain a high level of accuracy while working with large amounts of data.
- Work independently and stay focused on repetitive, detail-heavy projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; current students nearing graduation may also be considered.
- Ability to commit for the duration of the role - approximately 2-3 months.
- Previous experience working with a CRM, sales database, or sales engagement platform strongly preferred.
- Experience with Outreach, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and performing repetitive, meticulous work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused in a heads-down, project-based environment.
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous remote work experience is preferred.
