At CARFAX, we pride ourselves on being a winning team. The role of the office assistant is to help keep our team happy and productive. We are looking for a high energy, customer focused and results driven individual to contribute to our team’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Manage a busy reception area with a fun and pleasant disposition;
- Answer multi-line phone system and greet visitors;
- Order and set up food service requests (breakfast and lunch meetings, Friday lunch, monthly new hire celebrations, and etc.);
- Log, send and receive packages (FedEx, UPS). Deliver packages to employees.
- Sort, separate and distribute faxes and USPS mail.
Attention to Detail:
- Maintain and order general office and kitchen supplies
- Stock all coffee stations
- Stock printer and copier stations
- Stage conference rooms for meetings
- Track and report building maintenance issues
- Assist with other admin functions such as all new hire responsibilities – set up workstations
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in and around the office
Key Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- One year office experience and/or reception experience preferred
- High attention to detail and standards of quality
- Positive team player who takes initiative
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite applications: Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Part-time, Onsite
$20/hr
Temporary role lasting a minimum of 6 months
