We are partnering with a prestigious nonprofit organization in the higher education sector to hire a Scholarships Assistant. This individual will provide administrative and logistical support for a globally recognized scholarships program. The position is busiest in the fall during the peak of the selection cycle and offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities of the Scholarship Assistant
- Process and analyze application data for the scholarships selection process
- Provide logistical and administrative support to selection committees
- Draft and manage professional communications with institutional contacts and committee members
- Work extensively with Excel and potentially Salesforce for data management and reporting
- Assist with expense reporting and recordkeeping
- Support the archiving of historical information and program materials
- Contribute to general office support and special projects as needed
Qualifications of the Scholarship Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-2 years of professional experience (internships, campus roles, or office support experience welcome)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with Salesforce a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks during peak busy seasons
- Professional demeanor when communicating with committee members and institutional partners
- Interest in nonprofit work, higher education, or scholarship programs; familiarity with AI in education a plus
