Responsibilities of the Development Coordinator:
- Capture and manage data (company records and contact records) in Salesforce
- Analyze and prospect potential new members looking for industry trends and new avenues to engage organizations
- Assist in executing large scale outreach to prospect companies in our pursuit of new members, via phone and email
- Understand the benefits of membership and sell key aspects to target audiences
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
- Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database
- Attend periodic sales trainings where applicable
- Attend occasional industry events, conferences, and meetings
Requirements of the Development Coordinator:
- Completed bachelor’s degree
- Previous sales experience nice to have, an interest in growing in a sales-based career required
- Experience with customer relationship management software required; Salesforce preferred
- Analytical and able to work with data in detailed manner
- Impressive communication and presentation skills, both over the phone and in-person
- Ability to converse with senior leaders at some of the largest global companies
- High-energy and a results-focused approach
- Adaptability; willingness to try new things and explore new tools
- Commercially focused mindset to understand our customers as well as the internal process
