Responsibilities of the Development Coordinator:

  • Capture and manage data (company records and contact records) in Salesforce
  • Analyze and prospect potential new members looking for industry trends and new avenues to engage organizations
  • Assist in executing large scale outreach to prospect companies in our pursuit of new members, via phone and email
  • Understand the benefits of membership and sell key aspects to target audiences
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database
  • Attend periodic sales trainings where applicable
  • Attend occasional industry events, conferences, and meetings

Requirements of the Development Coordinator:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree
  • Previous sales experience nice to have, an interest in growing in a sales-based career required
  • Experience with customer relationship management software required; Salesforce preferred
  • Analytical and able to work with data in detailed manner
  • Impressive communication and presentation skills, both over the phone and in-person
  • Ability to converse with senior leaders at some of the largest global companies
  • High-energy and a results-focused approach
  • Adaptability; willingness to try new things and explore new tools
  • Commercially focused mindset to understand our customers as well as the internal process
