Responsibilities of the Fundraising Project Coordinator:
Works to plan, implement and track annual giving programs and appeals
Drafts all appeals, and facilitates the review/approval process and implementation
Coordinates cross-functionally with internal departments to determine annual fund
Determines appropriate online fundraising tools
Managing content updates and donor recognition programs
Provides logistical support to manage event fundraising
Works with internal departments to implement plans
Coordinates gift acknowledgment process, personalizing each letter as appropriate
Coordinates unique projects as assigned, including annual donor attribution opportunities
Maintains database and prospect lists
Provides expertise in database management in order to deliver data for fundraising
Works with the Finance Department to coordinate gift processing
Supports with revenue booking, invoicing and collections
Works with outside vendors to ensure payments and registrations are confirmed
Prepares and tracks all check requests for individual giving
Manages development department materials
Tracks fundraising publications for important trends, and new opportunities for fundraising success
Qualifications of the Fundraising Project Coordinator:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university
3+ years of previous experience in business development, nonprofit or sales
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated skill in database management
Familiarity with Personify, Salesforce or Nimble a plus
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office required
Superior writing skills and excellent proofreading skills required
$60,000-$65,000
