The Membership Training Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks related to the department, assisting with events that are relevant to the department, and supporting members with questions comments and concerns. Responsibilities of the Membership Training Coordinator:

  • Serve as the point person for member testing and training including marketing, registration, vendor interactions, financials, and customer service requests
  • Coordinate materials and manage the registration for events
  • Coordinate planning process for training events at annual meetings, including execution of assigned events
  • Support events for department’s committees, including preparing meeting materials and organizing logistics
  • Schedule meetings and conference calls as needed
  • Prepare invoices and check requests for approval and signature; maintain departmental and project financial documentation
  • Disseminate department mail, monitor and respond to email, and retrieve and distribute electronic facsimiles from department inboxes
  • Provide general departmental support, including ordering supplies, maintaining files, documenting and maintaining processes and procedures
  • Respond to member inquiries in a timely manner
  • Accurately and efficiently maintain departmental databases, handling some confidential information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Membership Training Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university in a relevant field
  • At least 1 years of previous experience with administrative support
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and follow-through skills
  • Experience and proficiency in the use of CRM’s / databases
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience in handling confidential information
