We are a small but growing financial lending institution who helps businesses throughout the country secure loans for necessary business equipment purchases or leases. In this position you’ll be helping with all aspects of office management and human resources! You’ll be primarily responsible for acting as the office liaison for inventory and vendor services as well as providing internal support on a variety of HR projects.
Responsibilities of the Administrative & HR Assistant:
- Assist with processing of incoming mail- sort, distribute and scan documents to appropriate parties
- Prepare outgoing packages, purchasing postage, obtaining UPS labels and packaging
- Manage the inventory and replacement of office supplies and order/stock break room
- Act as the office liaison with building management, as well as other outside vendors
- Schedule and arrange meetings for the management team
- Make travel arrangements for the management team
- Plan and arrange office lunches/events
- Greet office visitors and delivery personnel
- Other clerical tasks as needed
- Assist in performing candidate searches using online resources, job boards, social networks, or any other recruiting means and tools
- Reach out to potential candidates with pre-screen evaluation questions
- Schedule candidates for interviews with hiring managers
- Make travel arrangements for candidates and new hires
- Perform general research and analysis on HR projects related to HR policies, benefits, etc.
- Provide support for onboarding and offboarding of employees
Requirements of Administrative & HR Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work collaboratively, independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to set and manage multiple priorities
- Proven follow-through ability and deadline-orientation
- Positive attitude with the desire to learn from a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
