Responsibilities of the Program Coordinator:

  • Works as part of programs team to accomplish organizational goals
  • Coordinates logistics and data collection for program evaluations
  • Assists with the oversight and management of the Scholarship Community Platform including creating content, interacting with the students on the platform, daily monitoring of content and on-line conversations and interviews with industry leaders
  • Assists with program budget management (i.e. tracking invoices to budget)
  • Works with the development department to assist with program sponsorship deliverables
  • Confidence speaking in meetings and on the phone; comfortable making calls as needed (research calls, not sales calls)
  • Confidence liaising with high level guests, members of the military, high-school students, various vendors, sponsors at all levels
  • Organizes and maintains all past program material and files
  • Assists communications department as needed
  • Assists with maintenance of programs web site copy 
  • Assists in drafting scripts and PowerPoint slides 
  • Assists in developing survey process
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Program Coordinator:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Two+ years of previous coordinating or nonprofit administrative support experience
  • Industry experience ‘nice to have’
  • Tech-savvy and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
  • Ability to work remotely as needed
  • Must be able to maintain good rapport with all departments
  • Must be able manage changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be able to focus and deliver on multiple projects
  • Be on time and with a minimal amount of absence
  • Must be able to act with honor, character and integrity
  • Careful attention to detail with a creative mind possessing the ability to come up with innovative ideas
